Eleven seasons after Green Guru LLC started here in Rochester, our Google business profile reached 100 reviews while holding a 4.8-star rating. For our independent local team, that number means the world.

Because every review came from a real neighbor who took time to support a local team. Some came from customers we have known for years. Others came from brand-new homeowners after one repair visit. We are thankful for all of them.
Eleven seasons ago, I started Green Guru LLC right here in Rochester with a simple goal: treat people right, fix their sprinklers honestly, and show up when we say we will. For a long time, it was just me running these routes.
Recently, something incredible happened on our Google business profile. We officially reached our 100th review while holding tight to a 4.8-star rating.
For a giant, nameless corporation, 100 reviews might look like a random number on a spreadsheet. But for an independent local team like us, it means the world. It means 100 real neighbors across Oakland and Macomb County took time out of their busy days to say, "Hey, you did a great job."
And while I, Glenn, have been the one constant cog in the wheel for all 11 seasons, hitting this milestone was a total team effort.
When you call Green Guru LLC, Emily, our fantastic remote scheduler, is the one answering the phone, keeping our calendar organized, and making sure we fit you in exactly when you need us. Out on your turf, Colin has worked his way up from a dedicated helper to a true technician, bringing incredible energy, problem-solving, and skill to every single repair call.
Looking through those 100 reviews, I noticed a beautiful pattern that reminded our whole crew why we love serving this community.
Many of those reviews come from our old friends: the loyal Rochester-area customers who have been with me for a big chunk of these past 11 seasons. You are the ones who trust us with your spring turn-ons year after year, who know us by name, and who drop a detailed review explaining exactly how we tracked down a hidden leak or updated a smart controller.

Lately, we have also noticed an influx of reviews coming from new friends: people we just met for the very first time on a sudden sprinkler repair or diagnostic call.
